Days Of Our Lives Spoilers – Nicole Walker Gets Over Eric Brady

A very pregnant Nicole Walker (Arianne Zucker) may have married EJ DiMera (Daniel Feuerriegel) when she believed she was carrying his child, but she readily told Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) that wouldn’t have happened if she knew the baby belonged to Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan).

As she poured her heart out to Marlena after falsely believing her son had died, Nicole was adamant that she loved EJ but it wasn’t the same kind of all-encompassing love she has felt for Eric for the last 25 years. She’s convinced herself she could never love anyone else that way, but what if she is wrong?

With her teenage daughter Holly Jonas (Ashley Puzemis) in an Italian clinic thanks to EJ, Nicole is still beside herself with grief and worry, but she also sees that EJ has gone to great lengths to help ensure that Holly recovers, which only serves to endear him to her more.

DOOL Spoilers – Nicole Walker Really Does Love EJ DiMera

Seeing how caring and careful EJ is with both her and Holly makes Nicole realize that she can and does love EJ the way she loves Eric — or maybe even more.

This is a mature kind of love and doesn’t have the toxicity that her relationship with Eric has always had. She and EJ respect one another and that might be the most important thing for any marriage.

Of course, there are two still big secrets out there that can and will draw Nicole and Eric together again. Her son is not dead and her son is Eric’s. In fact, Eric is raising the baby Nicole gave birth to and doesn’t even realize it.

Once the truth about Baby Jude comes out Sloan Petersen (Jessica Sefaty) will be kicked to the curb and likely thrown in jail, making Eric available.

It will also turn Nicole and Eric into co-parents. Will these two co-parents be able to resist one another with EJ still in the picture?
