The woman in bed with Alex was Stephanie Johnson (Abigail Klein), not Chanel. While Johnny eventually found out the truth, it was a little too late. Johnny had already cheated on Chanel with Joy.

When Johnny wanted to confess to Chanel, Joy urged him to keep quiet. Then, Joy turned around and dropped a big hint to Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart). After that, Joy acted really suspicious at the DiMera mansion during the premiere for Body & Soul.

It was almost as if Joy was intentionally trying to set off alarm bells in Chanel’s mind while pretending to be discreet in front of Johnny.

Then, Joy blurted out the truth to Alex. After EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) offered Joy money to quietly leave town, she went and told Alex that, too.

Joy must have known Alex wasn’t going to sit by and let her leave. Joy probably had a feeling that Alex would go to the DiMera mansion.

Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal that Chanel had bonding time with Lani and Paulina Price (Jackee Harry).

Lani told Chanel the story of what led to her getting pregnant with Baby David Abraham Grant, who she, unfortunately, lost during the delivery.

Lani assumed JJ was cheating on her with Gabi Hernandez (Cherie Jimenez). However, JJ was suicidal. Gabi was only there to make sure JJ survived the night. That night changed everything for so many people, Lani explained.

Now, the circumstances are a bit similar between Lani’s first pregnancy and Joy’s situation. So, could Lani have been foreshadowing Chanel’s next marriage complication?

In the “Days of Days” 2024 promo, Chanel excitedly tells Johnny she wants to try for a baby. What if Chanel and Johnny get pregnant right away, only to find that Joy is also with child? That could make Chanel’s pregnancy bittersweet and it might end her marriage as well.
