Following her thyroidectomy when she was in her hospital bed, Paulina couldn’t breathe and was in severe pain as her worried family stood by. She was diagnosed as having had a heart attack-but now, she’s experiencing similar symptoms.

Again, the doctors will rush in her room and they’ll get her stabilized, but the news is not good.

Might Paulina have yet another heart attack and more surgery ahead when she hasn’t even recovered from the cancer surgery? There’s a distinct possibility she may have to have open heart surgery and a coronary bypass!

DOOL Spoilers – Paulina Price’s Previous Panic Attacks Misdiagnosed?

This could have been coming on for a long time, with Paulina’s penchant for ignoring important health symptoms and pushing through.

When Jada Hunter’s (Elia Cantu) sister Talia Hunter (Aketra Sevillian) was in town, she helped Paulina through what she thought was a panic attack.

Paulina was having symptoms of a heart problem that sometimes starts out as angina, a medical condition caused by an inadequate blood supply to the heart but can worsen.

She could have been having heart issues coming on for all that time untreated, simply because she didn’t get the right treatment or tests!

With the stress of the thyroidectomy and the thyroid cancer, Paulina’s pre-existing yet undiagnosed heart disease has gotten worse!

It’s a serious situation for Paulina and her family, with Eli and Lani Grant (Lamon Archey, Sal Stowers) coming to visit now that Lani’s been released from prison.

Kayla’s grim news for Abe and Chanel while Paulina is resting may be heart surgery ahead for Paulina, already weakened by the thyroid cancer, even though they got it all.

Paulina has not been fit as a fiddle or healthy as a horse for quite some time, and she’s been under undue stress for many months with Abe’s disappearance and rescue.

Her family worried, they’ll rally around her but Paulina’s health situation is very, very serious-there may be a possibility she won’t survive, with her body already weakened.

With possibly a second heart attack while recovering in the hospital from the first one and the cancer surgery, she’s got quite the row to hoe.
