However, Kate Roberts Brady (Lauren Koslow) is a cancer survivor. Since Kate and Paulina are already close friends, the cancer survivor could help the politician through her new battle.

During the week of January 22, Paulina gets her biopsy results back. Paulina will have cancer and it is teased she completely panics. Paulina feared it was cancer, which is why she tried to hide her symptoms for so long.

However, when Chanel saw the lump on Paulina’s throat, she pushed her to see Kayla Johnson (Mary Beth Evans).

Paulina’s head will be spinning. Although Kayla might want to talk about treatment options, Paulina might not really hear what the doctor is saying.

Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal that Abe already assured Paulina he would be there for her. After Paulina’s cancer diagnosis, Chanel and Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) will try to support her.

Paulina will have a lot of decisions to make, but not just about treatment. Paulina is a political figure and might need to step down for a bit. Paulina might struggle with whether to announce her cancer diagnosis or not.

Kate and Paulina are already good friends. While they haven’t shared scenes together in a while, the cancer diagnosis could bring the friends back together again.

Kate had a different type of cancer than Paulina has. However, Kate might understand Paulina’s fears and could have questions on what to expect.

Of course, what Paulina needs the most right now is love and support, which Kate will hopefully give to her.

The cancer diagnosis could spark a new focus for Paulina if she survives. As for Kate, she can’t do much for Lucas Horton (Bryan Dattilo) while he is in prison. Kate has been there in the infirmary, but Lucas will eventually be released back in the prison’s general population.

While Harris Michaels (Steve Burton) made a promise, Kate will eventually need to focus on something she can control… which is being a good friend to Paulina when she needs her loved ones the most.
