DOOL Spoilers: Joy Takes EJ’s Money But Stays In Salem

Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers reveal that Joy Wesley (Alexann Hopkins) has agreed to leave town since EJ Dimera (Dan Feuerriegel) keeps pushing her to do so.

EJ plans to pay Joy out of her contract and argue that she is homesick and needs to go home. Unfortunately, there is a great deal more going on than that.

Days of Our Lives Spoilers indicate that too many people have learned that Joy slept with Johnny Dimera (Carson Boatman) and Johnny doesn’t want to lose his wife, Chanel Dupree (Raven Bowens).

Johnny knows that Chanel would never forgive him for cheating on her and he wants to make sure this stays quiet.

Unfortunately, Alex Kiriakis (Robert Scott Wilson) has come to the mansion to confront Johnny after Joy told him about EJ’s deal.

This is something Johnny has just learned about himself. Chanel just happens to come in while they are arguing and demands answers. Will Alex blurt out the truth?

DOOL Spoilers – Joy Wesley Has Taken EJ Dimera’s Payoff

Joy met with EJ and received his payoff can has been ordered to leave town. However, Alex made some very valid points when he mentioned what this would do to her career.

Joy wants to be an actress; it is the one career that will get her out from under her mother’s thumb.

Joy loves that cast and crew at Body And Soul and doesn’t want to give that up. Like Alex said, EJ is the D.A., he’s not supposed to be pressuring people to leave town.

The mayor is EJ’s boss, and he could lose his job over this. However, the mayor is also Chanel’s mother and would probably do the same if she knew what had happened.

Days Of Our Lives Spoilers – Joy Wesley’s Change Of Heart

Unless the truth comes out, Chanel would be the first to encourage Joy to stay in Salem and keep her job.

Chanel would feel like she let Joy and Nancy Miller (Patrika Darbo) down if Joy wasn’t happy in Salem. Chanel promised Nancy that Joy wouldn’t be alone and that she would watch over her.

Will Joy change her mind and stay in town until the truth comes out and blows Johnny and Chanel’s world apart? What is EJ going to do? It isn’t like he can sue Joy for money he used to blackmail her.

EJ certainly won’t want it to be known that he paid Joy to leave town. Is this whole situation about to blow up in Joy’s face?
