DOOL Spoilers: Is The DNA Envelope Locked In EJ’s Safe The Key To Jude’s True Paternity Reveal?

Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers suggest that EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) feels as if he’s covered all his bases where Jude’s (Oliver McLarty) true paternity lies.

He’s run Sloan Petersen (Jessica Serfaty) out of town, shut Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart) up with hush money, and intimidated Melinda Trask (Tina Huang) into keeping quiet.

But he’s forgotten about one big piece of the puzzle, and that’s the DNA envelope sitting in his safe at the DiMera mansion.

DOOL spoilers remind fans that when Nicole DiMera (Arianne Zucker) was carrying Jude, EJ had her go to a number of specialists to ensure she had a good pregnancy and to troubleshoot any possible issues.

The doctors ran a variety of genetic tests to make sure they could flag any health conditions. The DNA genetic testing results came into the mansion, and instead of opening them up to review, EJ placed them in his safe.

Of course, when Sloan heard about this, she crossed a major line by breaking into the DiMera mansion, in an effort to swap the envelopes. Still, many viewers remember her taking the wrong envelope back with her.

She got nervous when she heard someone at the door and didn’t want to get caught so she quickly made the switch, but it was filmed as the wrong envelope that she had taken.

As she never looked at the envelope herself, she shredded it when she got home and went about her way. Still, did she swap the right envelope or was this a filming error that got swept under the rug?

Sloan told EJ that she swapped the genetic testing envelopes, and he’s never thought to go back and check it. After all, so much has happened since he got that envelope in the first place, so why would he think to take a look?

Now that Nicole has Jude back, she may want to organize a folder for him to file away, so whenever she needs to retrieve documents, it’ll be easy to find.

She’ll look into getting his birth certificate changed, but will she ask EJ for that prenatal genetic testing? Could this innocent request unleash the truth?

Then again, if Jude does come down with something, she may need to refer to that document, so a medical emergency could also prompt the truth about Jude being Eric Brady’s (Greg Vaughan) and not EJ’s
