DOOL Spoilers: Is Abigail DiMera Truly Gone For Good? A Recent Scene Confirms She’s NEVER Coming Back

Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers suggest that there is always a glimmer of hope that a long-dead character can return to a soap.

When it comes to Abigail DiMera (last played by Marci Miller), this can of worms was recently opened wide when Clyde Weston (James Read) first hinted that Chad DiMera’s (Billy Flynn) wife was not dead.

Upon investigation, fans *almost* got their hopes up after “Abigail” (AnnaLynn McCord) entered the picture.

DOOL viewers were disappointed to learn that fake “Abby” is working with her brother, Dr. Mark Greene (Jonah Robinson), to pull the wool over Chad’s eyes, but even more saddening is a recent scene from the soap that proves Abby will never (ever) return to the canvas.

DOOL spoilers for the Friday, October 4 episode reveals that Mark was offering his sister some encouragement, as she was struggling with her deception.

In all honestly, both Mark and “Abigail” seem like good people. The only reason they are going to great lengths to scheme against Chad is because Clyde has their mother, and they desperately want her back alive.

Regardless, as Mark was providing a pep talk, he acknowledges that Chad has been through a lot with his wife’s death. He goes on to state that he understands why his sis feels bad. After all, to make Chad think that Abigail is back, “when she not” and “never will be back…” is unfair.

There we have it folks: Mark did note that Abigail will never be back. As the Greene siblings somehow have gotten wrapped up with Clyde, they may know for certain that Abby is gone and gone for good.

It’s something that all DOOL viewers have known, deep down, for a long while. After all, she was stabbed and died in Chad’s arms. How can anyone come back from that?

With how Abby died, how could Days fans even entertain the idea that she could be alive?
Well because this is the land of soaps where anything and everything is possible.

Even though it looks like DOOL is leaving Abigail six feet under, there’s always a chance that someday somewhere even in the distant future she could come back very much alive.

Although, until then, everyone has to go with the notion that she is gone for good… or at least for now.
