Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers reveal that Abe Carver (James Reynolds) and Kate Roberts Brady (Lauren Koslow) hold a casting call.

In the weekly preview clip for July 29 to August 2, 2024, Hattie Adams (Deidre Hall) shows up to audition. It seems that this Body & Soul reimagining will have some entertaining twists featuring some wild Salemites. Keep reading to find out what to expect with this storyline.

DOOL spoilers reveal that Abe and Kate are all in when it comes to the TV venture. Abe and Kate managed to get Body & Soul on board with one small twist.

The three female leads will not relocate. That forces Abe and Kate to recast. Abe has an idea and goes to pitch the opportunity to two of his good friends.

DOOL Spoilers – Abe Carver’s Pitch

Abe asks Marlena to play Charlemagne while Kayla is a dead ringer for Kassandra. However, I can’t see Marlena and Kayla Johnson (Mary Beth Evans) agreeing to be on TV, especially a soap opera.

It seems that Abe gets a no because soon there is a casting call so they can find the right actresses.

Days Of Our Lives Spoilers – Charlemagne Casting Call

Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal that in the weekly preview clip, Hattie Adams shows up to the casting call. Abe is super excited when Hattie enters. Meanwhile, Kate seems shocked and a bit rattled.

As fans know, Hattie has quite an interesting history! Since Hattie is Marlena’s lookalike, she’ll have no problem fitting the description for Charlemagne. 

Even though Abe and Kate might have found their perfect Charlemagne, what about the other two female leads? Who is going to play those characters? And will Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) be directing?

This seems like the perfect fit for Johnny so I’m surprised he hasn’t at least been mentioned in the Body & Soul storyline. If he has, then I totally missed it.

DOOL Spoilers – Deidre Hall’s Double Duty

Abe will want to give the part right away to Hattie. However, Kate might have some reservations! In any case, if Hattie sticks around in Salem, expect some wild shenanigans… both on-screen and off!

As for Deidre Hall pulling double duty, she loves these kinds of stories. In the past, the actress has gushed about being able to play two characters in a soap, especially if they are on at the same time!

Plus, Hall posted a teaser on Instagram which confirms the woman in the preview clip is Hattie and not Marlena or someone else.
