Everett could pay for information and accidentally reveal too much information which could put Harris in the line of fire. Suppose Harris is about to bust one of Everett’s informants and doesn’t know it.

Everett’s promises could cause the drug dealer to turn on Harris and target him. One of the dealers could relay information back to Clyde as well.

After all, Clyde seems to know everything that is going on no matter what. Could Clyde maybe have an informant at the Salem PD who lets him in on Harris’ plans as well?

Everett does look just like Jada Hunter’s (Elia Cantu) ex-husband, who went by Bobby. Everett has also had a strange phone call here and there.

Could Mr. Investigative reporter be using his job to cover up his role in the drug trade? Could Everett possibly be Clyde’s connection on the outside?

Everett’s investigative reporting could certainly come in handy to keep Clyde informed of what the police do and don’t know about his movements in Salem. Is Everett feeding Clyde information, including Harris’ investigation details?

Harris is the lead investigator on this case but Jada is his partner. Unfortunately, it seems that Harris tends to follow leads without his backup.

Harris has proven that he will go into alleys or wherever he needs to go to get information, Harris proved this when the tip was called in about drugs at The Bistro. Will Harris be set up by another tip?

Since Harris tends to check out these tips alone and looks to be shot in an alley, perhaps he takes off on his own to check out a tip. Perhaps Jada stays back to park the care of something as someone opens fire on Harris.

Has Everett led Harris into a trap by releasing too much information? Will Harris die why trying to help the residents of Salem?
