DOOL Spoilers: Ericole Finally Gets Their “Happily Ever After” – Nicole Recast Coming?

Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers suggest some major bombshells on the horizon as the truth about Baby Jude is slowly seeping out.

While EJ DiMera’s (Dan Feuerriegel) goal is to raise the baby as his own to keep Ericole from reuniting, too many people know that Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan) is the child’s father.

Ericole will eventually get their happily ever after; however, with Arianne Zucker (Nicole DiMera) exiting the canvas in late July, it’s hard not to speculate that the super couple’s love story will be short-lived. Could there be a recast of this character on the horizon?

Days Of Our Lives Spoilers – Arianne Zucker’s Exit Storyline

Days spoilers don’t offer much about how actress Arianne Zucker will leave the canvas. As she’s launched a wrongful dismissal suit against the soap, the idea of her reprising the Nicole DiMera character anytime soon seems bleak.

Plus, even if anything were to happen to reverse the decision of her exiting the show, as the soap films so far in advance, there’s little chance that Arianne will be seen in the daytime drama’s storylines after July.

It’s hard not to think that Nicole will be killed off. After all, Ashley Puzemis (Holly Jonas – Nicole’s daughter) continues to film scenes on the show, and as she’s a teenager, it’s difficult for any fan to believe that Nicole would abandon her young daughter by leaving town, even after she’s been reunited with Jude.

Days Spoilers – Fans Deserve A Good Ericole Reunion

DOOL spoilers note that the clock is ticking for a solid Ericole reunion. While things can change fast in the land of Salem, the very idea that both Nicole and Eric will live out there happily ever after, as the fans want, is just not going to happen. Two months of an Ericole romance, with Jude and Holly in tow, is not enough.

Unless … the show decides to recast the Nicole DiMera role, which is doable. Sure, Arianne Zucker is the only actress who has played the legendary role over the years; however, this doesn’t mean the part can’t be played by anyone else.

Still, because of the circumstance of Ericole, onscreen chemistry, sparks, and history, would it be the right move to do this? Would a “new” Nicole fulfill that “happily ever after” scenario that #TeamEricole viewers are looking for?
