DOOL Spoilers: Diamonds From Ashes, Mysterious Treasure Found?

Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers and updates tease sometimes there are diamonds found from ashes, and at the Horton House, a mysterious treasure is found.

Julie and Doug Williams, (Susan Seaforth Hayes, Bill Hayes) Maggie Kiriakis (Suzanne Rogers) and Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) will check out the house and survey the damage.

Days Of Our Lives Spoilers – A Sad Heap

In a Soap Opera Digest preview, Susan Seaforth Hayes described what happened to the Horton House as it turning into “a sad heap”.

She and a few generations of Hortons had grown up in that house, and although it looks like Tom Horton’s (MacDonald Carey) chair survived, the couch did not.

Julie was particularly upset about the years of personalized Christmas ornaments possibly being destroyed, not seeing how they could have survived the fire, understandably.

The Horton Christmas tree trimming had been a family tradition going back many years, with personalized ornaments going back to when Julie’s mother, aunt and uncles were still living.

Tom and Alice Horton (Frances Reid) started the tradition many years ago with their children and they were Julie’s grandparents.

DOOL Spoilers – Apparently The House Is Somewhat Structurally Sound

Apparently, the house is at least somewhat structurally sound, as Chad’s children will be there when John Black (Drake Hogestyn) and Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) show up.

A preview photo shows John and Thomas DiMera (Cary Christopher) play-boxing at each other, and if Thomas is there then Charlotte DiMera (Olivia and Oakley Rondou) may be too.

Roman Brady (Josh Taylor) and Kate Roberts Brady (Lauren Koslow) also show up to pitch in, as Julie declares the family home will be rebuilt, if not totally restored.

Even Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart) shows up to help, and tells Julie he’d love to hear about the Horton family history-perhaps even write a piece for the Salem Spectator.

Obviously, this will be a departure from his usual Lady Whistleblower gossip column unless he’s writing about Alice’s drugged donuts that time where the ladies wound up having a “high tea”!

Days Of Our Lives Spoilers – A Mysterious Vintage Box Is Found

Somehow, one thing that managed to survive the destructive fire is a mysterious vintage box, something that even Julie doesn’t remember ever seeing.

Could it be something that Tom and Alice may not have even known was there, that was hidden in the house by the previous owners?

Show history records the names of Tom’s parents, Bill and Adelaide Horton (uncast) but not if they were the original owners-and also Alice’s parents Sid and Abigail Greyson (uncast).

In the same episode, a recreated flashback of a young Tom Horton (Zach Chyz) and Alice Greyson Horton (Sydney K. Smith) will have a picnic.

Whether this is related to the vintage box, or Julie telling family history to Leo is unknown-you’ll have to tune in and find out!
