DOOL Spoilers: Cherie Jimenez Shares Special Connections She’s Made With Julie Dove

Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers suggest that Connie Viniski (Julie Dove) has long hated Gabi Hernandez DiMera (Cherie Jimenez). She framed the woman for Li Shin’s (Remington Hoffman) murder, watched her go to prison, and even tried to kill her the week of September 16-20.

With that being said, it looks like the actresses who play these larger-than-life characters in Salem have established a nice bond, outside of the set.

Days Of Our Lives Spoilers – Cherie Jimenez Talks About “Real-Life” Friendship

Cherie Jimenez recently had a chat with Soap Opera Digest (SOD) talking about the friendship that has blossomed between her and Julie Dove. Jimenez states that Dove has become one of her good friends and they have lunch at least once a month to “catch up”.

She goes on to state that Dove is “absolutely wonderful”, and she brings a fun, kooky/crazy dynamic on the DOOL set. Jimenez adds that the two actresses had a lot of fun going “back and forth”.

As they began their Days journey around the same time (Julie was on the soap before Jimenez, but the intensity of her storyline really exploded after Cherie debut), the actresses had been there with each other as they entered the world of soaps.

DOOL Spoilers – Work Brought Them Closer

Jimenez goes on to tell SOD that as everything moves fast on Days, and the cast is given so much dialogue that she and Dove bonded as scene partners as they would always run lines together.

She got to know Julie during this process, and learned about her acting and life journey, and the two chatted about family, pets, etc. (and vice versa).

Jimenez also appreciated Julie’s admiration for Days and getting the opportunity to work on the show after she and her mother watched for so many years, stating it is an “awesome thing”. She adds, Dove will “… reach out to check up on me. And I’ll do the same with her. We had a lot of fun on set with our characters and our dynamic, and it [developed into] a friendship.”
