It was a ridiculous lie that Chanel should’ve seen through. However, Chanel also loves her husband and might not want to know the truth.

After Johnny told the lie to Chanel, the baker had a discussion with Joy. It was an awkward conversation, just as most of them have been between Chanel and Joy.

For one thing, Stephanie heard about Alex and Joy’s fling, and now thinks they are dating. Joy and Alex tried to clear things up, but Stephanie wouldn’t let them get a word in.

That likely pushes Stephanie to kiss Philip Kiriakis (John-Paul Lavoisier), who will just end up broken-hearted again. After all, Stephanie can’t seem to control herself around Alex!

With the Body & Soul spoiler stealer taunting Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart), there are more scandalous secrets about to be exposed.

Body & Soul is already going through a lot of dicey publicity. So, if Joy and Alex’s fake affair gets leaked, fans just might go wild.

That could have Abe Carver (James Reynolds) and Kate Roberts Brady (Lauren Koslow) pushing Alex and Joy to keep up the fake romance publicly.

If that happens, I could see Kate ordering Alex and Joy not to date other people. Alex might claim that Kate can’t control their personal lives, but she is a pretty good contract sealer.

Kate likely made sure she could do certain things in the contract. That could just mess things up even further for not only Alex, Joy, Chanel, and Johnny, but others as well.
