As Everett didn’t have friends or family, she felt the burden of trying to guess where her ex wanted to be laid to rest.

Leo suggested turning to Connie, one of Everett’s old friends, which both intrigued Stephanie and shocked her. Could the Head Writer of Body and Soul land in hot water for revealing this?

DOOL spoilers remind fans that the time that Connie and Everett were in each other’s orbit before his passing. This was when Bobby Stein overtook Everett and was looking to spill the beans around Li Shin’s (Remington Hoffman) murder.

Connie couldn’t allow that to happen, and she poisoned the poor fellow before he could say anything, making it seem like suicide.

After one of their encounters, Leo saw Connie leave Everett’s room. As he and Everett worked together on the Spectator, he was curious about their connection, and asked the odd lady. This is when Connie revealed they were old friends.

If Connie catches wind of what Leo told Stephanie about their friendship, she may decide that it’s time to get rid of Lady Whistleblower for good.

Of course, she will deny that she ever knew Everett to Stephanie and question why Leo would ever tell her such a thing. Connie’s next step would be to try to get rid of the soap writer, so does Leo now have a target on his back?
