DOOL Alum Lisa Rinna Hints At Reprising The Billie Reed Character

Days Of Our Lives (DOOL) alum Lisa Rinna recently returned to The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, which has fans buzzing.

Still, could the actress make another comeback for a popular soapy character she once played? After all, Rinna’s big break in acting was when she entered the Days of Our Lives (DOOL) role in 1992.

With the slew of older DOOL characters returning to this soap this month, and come the new year, will Lisa Rinna join some older castmates and reprise the Billie Reed role, too?

Days Of Our Lives Spoilers -Alum Lisa Rinna’s Run As Billie Reed

Lisa Rinna’s first run on Days ended in 1995; however, she has reprised the Billie Reed role a number of times over the years.

Her most recent run on the mothership show took place in 2018, and she also was involved in the Peacock special, Days of Our Lives: Beyond Salem, in 2021.

In addition, the Billie character has been recast and played by others in the past, like Krista Allen from 1996-1999, and Julie Pinson from 2004-2008.

As Bo Brady (Peter Reckell) and Hope Williams Brady (Kristian Alfonso) are set for a major storyline in 2025, could Billie Reed also make a comeback?

DOOL Spoilers – Alum Lisa Rinna Teases A Comeback

In a recent interview with Distractify, Rinna hinted at a possible Days return. She stated that she never says “no” to anything and added, “I’m always open to revisiting these characters that I love.”

Interestingly enough, Rinna recently tipped her hat to her daytime drama roots with a Black Friday online soap parody ad for Walmart where she plays a woman who reunites with her ‘evil’ twin sister.

Rinna states in the interview about the commercial, “I think if you’ve ever done a soap opera or watched a soap opera, it’s kind of the goal. You’d love to be able to play a twin, right? It’s a classic soap opera. And, so, when they told me to play twins, I thought, ‘Oh my god, yes, I can’t wait.’”
