The Queen’s state funeral was one of the first official events that Prince George and Princess Charlotte attended together when it took place in 2022.

The service went on for hours, with the young royals seated at the front with their parents where the eyes of the cameras watched them throughout the entire proceedings.

At one point, Prince George, then 9, and Princess Charlotte, then 7, walked behind King Charles III and other senior royals. As they approached Westminster’s Welling Arch, George appeared to pinch younger sister Charlotte, prompting her to turn to him with a look of discomfort.

As the royal sibling tiff started to develop, Queen Camilla decided to snip it in the bud by looking sternly at Charlotte and whispering to Princess Kate “take her!” according to expert lipreader Jeremy Freeman.

“What did Charlotte say when she turned back around?” said one fan who saw the event captured on TV. “Was it wow? Ow? Cow?” Another fan tweeted: “Looks like Prince George and Princess Charlotte have a small disagreement. Look at The Queen Consort, Camilla.”

Camilla is said to enjoy a close relationship with her step-grandchildren and is sometimes seen having adorable moments with them in public.

After the whole show was over, Camilla was said to turn to the cheeky youngster and say to him, “Let’s go it’s finished now. That really was wonderful, so incredible.”
