Karen & Deon Derrico Clashed Over Darian Derrico

Doubling Down With the Derricos fans were shocked to see in the last season of the TLC show that Deon and his wife argued a lot. They clashed over the new house. And, they clashed over Darian’s studies. It seemed that Karen wanted her daughter to go one way, while Darian wasn’t sure what she wanted. Maybe fans will see more about that in 2025 when the show returns. 

After Karen and Deon Derrico’s daughter graduated high school and went to her prom her mom wanted her to study music and the arts. And, it seemed the way to go, because she did attend some summer camps about that. Well, Darian Derrico applied to New York University but didn’t get in, so she was upset. But the Doubling Down With the Derricos star has continued studying. 

Deon Derrico Shouts Out Singing Career On Special Day

Doubling Down With the Derricos fans who follow Deon saw that he and Karen jointly shared an Instagram post about Darian’s birthday. The TLC dad posted a photo of a TLC poster that showed his daughter with his mom, GG. In his caption, he talked about her singing career.

Deon Derrico said:

Continue on your path to be another one of America’s next Greatest singers I’m excited for this amazing journey and being able to call you my Daughter!

The rest of the post was about the fact that Darian Derrico just turned 19 years old. Deon Derrico added “Happy 19th Birthday to my Darian Dai DERRICO… it was on this day 12.9.2005 at 3:21 a.m. Eastern time in Detroit, MI. That this beautiful soul graced this world and would go on to become a trailblazer of 13 younger siblings!” He also raved about her sweet personality and how she made the family proud. 

TLC Fans Send In Their Best Wishes To Darian Derrico

Those TLC fans who follow Deon Derrico didn’t really talk about the singing career. However, they did send in a lot of best wishes for Darian’s birthday.

Here is one example of a particularly sweet message, “my gosh girlie u have grown up on us 🙏🏾 so much and many blessings come ur way. u are a very smart woman omg i said it. 😂 u our tv niece honey I ain’t ready but yes u got this. u kno what’s best and right follow ur heart boo ❤️ love u.”
