Days Of Our Lives Spoilers: Will Bo & Hope Finally Get Their “Happily Ever After”?

Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers reveal that fans are still reeling over the news that Peter Reckell is set to reprise his Bo Brady role after his uncertain exit in 2023. The even better news is that Kristian Alfonso will also be reprising her role as Hope Williams Brady, so it’ll be interesting to see Bope together again, in Salem. Will fans finally see this super couple head toward their “happily ever after”?

Days Of Our Lives Spoilers – Bope’s Tumultuous History

DOOL spoilers remind fans that while Bo and Hope have had a beautiful romance, they’ve had their fair share of ups and downs, especially in the past decade.

They fell in love and became one of Salem’s top super couples in the early ‘80s. Still, exits from both Alfonso and Reckell over the years affected the Bope romance and reunions.

A huge downfall for the couple was when Reckell left the show in 2012. His character didn’t get much of an exit, and many fans felt like the soap was trying to sweep Bo under the rug.

While his name was mentioned here and there, his behavior (leaving Hope high and dry) was very out of the ordinary.

Reckell and Bo had an explosive return in 2015, and the couple shared a beautiful reunion; however, as quickly as Bo entered Salem storylines, he left, when it turned out that he had an incurable brain tumor.

While Bo’s return arc in 2015 provided closure for DOOL viewers, many were saddened that the soap went to great lengths to have him comeback, only for the character to exit.

An unexpected miracle occurred in 2022 when it turned out that Bo was not dead – rather “frozen”. When he was unthawed, he wasn’t the “Bo” loved ones (or fans) remember.

It seemed to take forever for Hope to find him and get through to him, and when she finally did, their son, Shawn-Douglas (Brandon Beemer) accidentally shot him, leaving him in a coma. Once again, fans were excited for Bope’s future only to be let down.

DOOL Spoilers – A Light Of “Bope” At The End Of The Tunnel?

TV Insider was the one to break the story about Bo’s return, sharing a photo of Reckell and Alfonso on the Days set.

DOOL viewers were aware that Kristian was returning for the tribute to the late and great Bill Hayes, who played Doug Williams.

However, fans were also aware that Reckell/Bo was not asked to join the soap for these special episodes, scheduled to air later this year.

Reckell revealed to TV Insider, “This ride is one we know the fans are really going to love,” which seems like quite the spoiler.

So, will Salem’s prodigal son awaken from his coma and return to Salem, with a happy storyline ahead or another tragedy? Fans will have to wait until 2025 to find out, as that is when Bo’s shows are slated to air.
