Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers hint that Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan) and Nicole Walker (Arianne Zucker) are on the verge of a romantic reunion, which is a long time coming for so many fans.

Now that they know they are both the bio parents of Jude Brady (Oliver McLarty) it’s time for them to glide into the sunset and live out their happily ever after. But sadly, viewers won’t get to watch the afterglow of it all.

Days Spoilers: It’s Been A Long Hard Road For Ericole

DOOL spoilers note that fans have wanted to see Ericole come together for a long while. They almost had it in 2022 when Nicole decided to leave her marriage to Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) to reunite with her soul mate.

his was brought to a halt when Eric found out that “his love” was the reason Jada Hunter (Elia Cantu) had an abortion.

Eric’s never been a father before, learning that Jada had ended her pregnancy was devastating news. Even worse was the fact that Nicole played a role in convincing her to do so.

Days Spoilers: The Baby Storyline That Kept Going

Fast forward to spring 2023, when the Sweet Bits drug-tampering scandal landed Ericole in bed together, even though they were under the influence. It’s taken well over a year for this storyline to finally conclude, with plenty of interesting twists and turns.

However, with fans mere days (pun intended) away from seeing Nicole officially depart from Salem, whether she and Eric ride into the sunset together, or not, the climatic end to this arc feels so anticlimactic to Ericole fans.

Even if the super couple reunites and decides to raise Jude together, all the fun, cute, and sweet moments will be done off-screen.

There’s always a chance that the show recasts Nicole, but will that be the same? While Greg Vaughan was an Eric recast to Jensen Ackles OG Eric, Ari and Greg had chemistry. Will the same be said for a new Nicole and Vaughan?
