This festive film takes place five years after the original, with Thomas Brenner (Miles Marthaller) fully immersed in childhood adventures.

Meanwhile, Taylor, Luke, and Stephan find themselves at various crossroads in their lives, united by a common mission: to rescue Thomas’ school holiday musical from impending chaos. The first installment was a tremendous success, becoming the most-watched cable movie of 2022.

Hallmark Channel Spoilers – Could A Third Movie Be In The Works?

Hallmark fans are eagerly curious about the possibility of a third installment in the series-after all, it’s practically part of the title! During a visit to the Vancouver set of Three Wiser Men and a Boy in April 2024, TV Insider talked to the cast about the future of the Brenner brothers—and Thomas.

When asked about a potential third story, Campbell responded, “I don’t know. I think I’ll never say no.” He acknowledged that the network would likely have a strong viewpoint on the matter. “Crafting this story was quite a challenge, and we aimed to meet all expectations,” he noted, also expressing optimism, saying, “I believe there’s a chance for us to collaborate on another project.

Hallmark Channel Spoilers – A Special Chemistry

Campbell continued, “We’ve discovered a special chemistry here, and we truly enjoy working together; whether it involves the Brenners or something else, I’m hopeful for what lies ahead.” Hynes and Walker are eagerly awaiting the green light from Campbell and Kimberley Sustad, the duo behind the film’s script. Hynes expressed his trust in their storytelling abilities, saying, “If they have a narrative to share, they could persuade me to do anything.”

He added, “I have complete confidence in those two, so anything is on the table. I believe there’s a lot more excitement to explore with the three of us embarking on new, wild adventures without limits.”

Hallmark Channel Spoilers – Another Sequel Never Came To Mind

Walker shared similar sentiments regarding a potential sequel, stating, “If Kimberley and Paul are leading the project, I’m all in.” Campbell shared that he never thought about a sequel while writing and acting in the first film; he mentioned that both he and Sustad were initially unsure about continuing the story.

“When creating these movies, you usually wrap everything up neatly,” he said-making a sequel is tough because the Hallmark Channel looks for certain elements, like emotional growth and romance. So, how do you start over and include all those aspects in a sequel; you can’t just say: Brenners go to Vegas-we tried that, and it didn’t work. So we were a bit cautious-but overall, we really care about these characters and their world, and if there’s a story to tell, we want to find a way to do it.”
