Corey Rathgeber Visits The USA Amid Split Rumors

In October last year, strong rumors arrived that 90 Day Fiance stars Corey Rathgeber and Evelin Villegas had split. Well, now he’s visiting the USA for the first time in ages, some TLC fans think he might have left Ecuador permanently. Read on for more details.

In 90 Day Fiance: The Other Way, Seasons 1 and 3, TLC fans saw that Evelin Villegas was not at all interested in marrying Corey. Considered a villain, viewers accused her of just wanting his money. Sure enough, he put money into their beach-side bar and restaurant in Ecuador. 

Corey Rathgeber and Evelin later got shredded by 90 Day Fiance fans because they discovered that they had gotten married but played out for the cameras that they were still single. So, the 2023 rumors of a split were golden for their critics. 

Corey Rathgeber Visits The USA

This week, the 90 Day Fiance star shared a photo on Instagram of himself with some cousins and explained that he experienced a couple of firsts. In his caption, he told his fans:

Yes, it’s true!!! Im in the USA, and it’s my first time visiting Atlanta, Georgia. It’s been good times seeing my cousins! I appreciate you guys very much, more than you know! Thanks for taking me to Waffle House for my first time…Now it’s off to Washington for me!

Perhaps TLC fans assumed that Corey Rathgeber left Ecuador and Evelin Villegas forever because he started off his post with “Yes it’s true.” But judging by their social media posts, they seem to be together. In November, Corey outright said he loved Evelin and she responded with a heart. So, probably, he is not staying Stateside forever. 

90 Day Fiance Fans React To The Post

In the comments section of Corey Rathgeber’s post, a fan asked, “Did you see the post about you leaving Evelyn because she didn’t want a baby?” And someone else replied, saying, “Wow not fake news? In that case, he might be back in his country to stay 😂”

Other TLC fans also suspected that Corey is back forever. One of them wrote, “Best 🔥thing you could have sone took you long enough.”

Still, there are some level-headed 90 Day Fiance fans and one of them pointed out:

It’s a tabloid you can’t Believe everything you read. He’s obviously visiting while his wife stays behind and runs their business.
