Christine Brown Confuses Irritated ‘Sister Wives’ Fans

Sister Wives Season 19 premiered and Christine Brown posted some old photos of her family that confused and irritated TLC fans. Read on to find out why they got so upset, and what they had to say about the show.

The wedding special for Kody Brown’s former third wife already aired, and fans know that she is living her best life now. Additionally, TLC fans already know about Mykelti Padron’s children being born, Avalon, and the twins, Archer and Ace. But now, Sister Wives fans become confused about the timeline.

Spoilers for Season 19 of Sister Wives revealed that the first three episodes would show Christine Brown and the rest of the family at Mykelti’s baby sprinkle. Additionally, TLC fans will see Meri wanting a divorce via their church, which is called a “release.” And, Mykelti welcomes the twins. There’s more, but lots of it is already well-known from social media. 

Why Are Sister Wives Fans Irritated & Confused?

On September 15, when the show premiered, Kody Brown’s former third wife took to her Instagram and shared some photos of Mykelti and the baby sprinkling. In her caption, the TLC star wrote:

More photos of the baby sprinkle!! It was awkward, but hey, we’re adults and we can be in the same place for our kids. But it was so soon after I left. Argh. #awkward

In the comments section, some Sister Wives fans claimed the post confused them. And, others complained because so much of the new season seems like old news. Here are some reactions to the photos shared by Christine Brown:

• So confused… Not sure why this show has to be 2 1/2 years behind.
• Why is this show so behind times?? It’s 2024.
• Sister Wives executives and producers—- do better. We need more time accurate content. As a huge fan of the family—- it’s frustrating reliving years ago 🙄. Catch up. The family gives you plenty of content, there’s no excuse.
• Why is this show so far behind any other?!?? Most shows are usually 6 months behind not almost 2 years! Get it together TLC!
• Aren’t these children grown now? I’m sorry TLC needs to tighten up and not act like there’s no social media that knows what is going on currently.
