Catfish: Kamie Crawford Makes Shocking Exit

Catfish has become a pop-culture fixture over the past decade on MTV, and so have Kamie Crawford and Nev Schulman.  After six years on the popular dating docuseries, Nev’s co-host is saying goodbye.  Here’s everything we know about Kamie’s Catfish exit, keep reading for all the details.  

Kamie Crawford joined Catfish Season 7 as a guest co-host when Nev Schulman’s co-star Max Joseph began working on other projects.  Her first episodes aired in 2018-2019.  In 2020, Max announced his official exit from the series and Kamie was named Nev’s new co-host.  

Catfish – Loses A Fan Fave

When Kamie first appeared on Catfish as a guest, she was relatively unknown.  The celeb’s claim to fame was modeling for Sports Illustrated and Miss Teen USA.  

Catfish clearly gave Kamie the platform that she needed to launch her television career, and it looks like the host is moving on to bigger and better. 

Why be a co-host on Catfish when you can host your own show?  Crawford currently is hosting Paramount+ series ‘Are You The One’, and ‘Ex On The Beach’ on MTV.  

Aside from her TV hosting gigs, the Catfish star also has a very successful relationship advice podcast, appropriately titled ‘Relationsh!t.’ 

After travelling across the country with Nev Schulman for six seasons and exposing internet cheaters, Kamie probably knows a thing or two about relationships.

Kamie Crawford – Announces Exit

Crawford announced her Catfish exit on October 3rd and shared this sweet message with her Instagram followers, “I have so many new dreams now and although I’m writing this with tears in my eyes (y’all know I’m a water sign at the end of the day), I am excited for what’s to come and I’m even more honored that I get to take you all with me.”
