Little People, Big World (LPBW) fans are divided over whether Molly Roloff was bratty on the TLC show or not. However, they do agree that she turned out to be the best kid raised by Matt and Amy Roloff. Read on to find out why.
LPBW Alum Molly Roloff Turned Out Okay
It’s seldom that TLC fans see Molly these days. Unlike her brothers, Zach, Jeremy, and Jacob Roloff, she stays off social media and values her privacy. Notably, she has a real job that doesn’t involve favors from her father. It’s a real job too, not just play-acting at farming.
Occasionally, Little People, Big Word fans see Molly Roloff and her husband Joel Silvius with Matt Roloff or Amy. They live in Washington and have kept their lives mostly private since the last time she appeared on the LPBW show in 2019. Some fans adored her on the show, and others felt that she was bratty.
Was Molly Roloff Bratty, If So, Why?
This weekend on Reddit, Little People, Big World fan u/Maleficent-Farm-5057 raised the subject of Matt’s only daughter being a bit bratty. In their caption, the OP wrote:
What was up with Molly in the earlier seasons, she was honestly just so rude and didn’t seem pleasant to be around but Matt and Amy thought she could do no wrong, am I missing something???
In fairness to Molly Roloff, not all TLC fans agreed that she was rude or bratty. One of them commented, “When was she rude? I’m doing a rewatch and am on season 3, and my main takeaway has been what a lovely kid Molly was.”
The Best Kid From LPBW Discussion
Molly Roloff, some TLC fans believed, was just playing it up for the camera, which is not unusual on reality TV. Here are a few other thoughts :
- Always thought she came off as a brat too. This sub seems to defend her a lot though.
- I think the plus points in her favor are that she actually did do well in school, she has a real job in a field that is reasonably challenging (CPA/accounting) and took herself out of the limelight, not relying on a career in social media to fund her life.
- I think a lot of the discomfort was with their entire life being on display against their [consent]. But also, I think the kids all disrespected their parents because that was the example modeled to them.
What are your recollections of Molly Roloff? Did you think she was bratty, if not as bad as her brothers, Zach, Jeremy, and Jacob?
