Brands Don’t Want To Work With Meghan Markle For This Reason

Last year was a tough one for Meghan Markle, with the loss of her sweet Spotify deal and her failure to secure a new one.

At the moment, Meghan and Harry’s Netflix deal is hanging by the balance and there has been no announcement of new shows since Harry released his Invictus docuseries.

Sources close to the Duchess say she’s “stressed” and “desperate” with every deal that fall through. In fact, she’s reportedly so fed up of it she wants Harry to take the reins for once.

Meghan Markle’s Value Has Decreased And She Needs To Reduce Her Brand Expectations

According to insiders, it’s Meghan Markle’s dearest wishes to represent major fashion brands as an ambassador. However, this desire is one-sided because these brands don’t want to work with the Duchess.

Speaking to TalkTV, royal expert and podcaster Kinsey Schofield said Meghan’s value dwindles considerably in comparison with the Royals: “They’re not going to want to touch Harry and Meghan if they continue to attack the family because they want to work with their family.”

Schofield also claimed that America in general is turning its back on Harry and Meghan following their multiple attacks on the Royal Family. Even sources sympathetic to the Duchess like Nick Ede agreed she overplayed her victim card.

In truth, expert Cristo Foufas thinks they’re just overreaching. “They’re not going to get Dior, they’re going to get Walmart. They want to be marketing Bentley’s, they’re going to be marketing Subaru’s, that is the level that they are,” the TalkTV host said.

At present, Meghan Markle is signed to WME as a speaker, and there’s a possibility she could push forward with her The Tig relaunch plans.

A return to acting is also not ruled out, especially since she needs to revive her brand and move it away from royal-bashing.

Meghan ended 2023 as one of The Hollywood Reporter’s top losers, and the fact she began this year absent from the Golden Globes seems to suggest that Hollywood, indeed, has moved on.
