Botched Bariatrics spoilers reveal that this new show coming to TLC will focus on failed weight loss surgeries and the patients who are living with them now.
The first trailer for the new series has been released and fans of shows like My 600-Lb Life are looking forward to watching. Let’s find out more about this new show.
New Medical Series
TLC viewers have grown to love reality television and this will be no different. This isn’t like any other weight loss show though. This show features those who have had severe complications from weight loss surgeries.
They are seeking medical help to get their lives back. TLC’s press release adds, “These patients are in dire need of help, ranging from a woman who can only eat pureed food to a man living with explosive bowels.”
Three doctors will be featured on the show, Dr. Khan, Dr. Hodges, and Dr. Rao. The three of them are all bariatric surgeons who want to help these patients.
They will be working with plastic surgeons, Dr. Kundu and Dr. Caplin to help them get their lives back. The patients have turned to them as a cry for help to see if the mistakes that were made can be changed.
The Cast Members
One of the cast members of Botched Bariatrics is named Latoya. After having bariatric surgery, she was left with a giant mass. She also told the doctors, ‘part of my bowels had died.’
Another patient, Sean is suffering from explosive bowels. He can’t control them and he is worried that at any moment ‘I’m gonna s**t myself!’
Christina is another cast member who is suffering from the mistakes her surgeon made. She has only eaten pureed food for 12 years. If she doesn’t puree her food, she throws it up.
These patients are desperate to try anything to help them with the complications from their surgeries. They have been dealing with these problems for years and now it’s time for them to find out what can be done to help them.
The premiere of Botched Bariatrics will premiere on Wednesday, May 15 on TLC. It will also be streaming on MAX.
