Big Brother Changes Live Feeds, Fans OutragedBig Brother is back in full swing. However, fans aren’t happy with the changes made to the live feeds. The live feeds are a critical element of the game show since it shows fans what happens behind the scenes. Keep on reading to learn more.

Big Brother Makes Changes To Live Feed

Big Brother 26 returned on Monday, July 15. CBS announced the cast for the upcoming season. Sixteen houseguests will compete against each other for the $750,000 grand prize.

The game will play out for the next 90 days, ending on October 13. This is down from last summer, which ran for 100 days. Other changes have been made to the long-running series.

The Big Brother live feeds are a huge component of the show. The feeds allow viewers to see what happens in the big house day and night, in between episodes.

The live feeds used to be easily accessible online. But it has moved to streaming in light of its popularity.

CBS has moved most of its content and programming to Paramount+. As a result of this change, the live feeds are limited. The Big Brother fanbase isn’t happy about this change.

They’re threatening to boycott the season. Viewers could easily watch the live feeds online, which was a huge draw to the show.

The live feeds were available any time of the day. This allows viewers to keep track of their favorite and not-so-favorite players. Plus, they don’t miss out on anything controversial or dramatic that has happened in the house.

This appealing element has changed. Paramount+ will not have flashbacks or archives available for the online live feeds.

Big Brothers Fans Outraged

Paramount+ didn’t announce this change with the live feeds. The platform just shares a quiet announcement about Big Brother 26 that reads: “Starting this season, archives and flashbacks are no longer available – but you can still watch all four cameras with our live feeds!”

Seemingly, Big Brother producers wanted to do with this feature. Those without a subscription to Paramount+ won’t have access to the live feeds. Plus, subscribers can’t go back and watch this content. Once it’s gone, it’s gone.

Big Brother fans are already upset about this season. They were unsatisfied with the cast introductions and concerned about the mystery player lurking in the midst.

This season also hasn’t created as much buzz on social media as it did in the past. There are concerns about the future of Big Brother.

One of the contestants made racist and misogynistic comments on the live feeds. But now fans can’t rewind the footage to play back those comments. Some think it’s the show’s way of protecting the contestants.

“So not as bad as canceling the feeds outright, but it’s a close second…” one fan wrote.

“I would be VERY happy if someone would tell me I am reading this wrong… no more flashback?” another user asked.
