This time last year, Alaskan Bush People star Bear Brown moved in with his mom, Ami in town. On Sunday, he explained more about North Star Ranch and why they can’t live there permanently. Read on to find out more.
Bear Brown & His Family Don’t Always Live In The Wild
Alaskan Bush People fans often accused the Discovery cast of fakery. According to the show, they were a rugged and wild family who battled the harsh wilderness conditions in Alaska. However, locals leaked that they stayed in a nearby settlement and only filmed in Browntown. Is that why they don’t live on North Star Ranch permanently?
Bear Brown decided that soon, they plan a move to Alaska. On social media, Bear told his fans that they hope to buy an old bus and convert it into a sort of large RV. Then, they will drive it to Alaska and live in it. Presumably, they will only stay there for the warmer months, rather like their sojourns on North Star Ranch.
Bear Brown Gets A House In Town
The Discovery star posted a reel on Instagram and he looked cold because he walked through a winter wonderland. In it, he told his followers that he and Raiven “found a new house and it’s a nice one.” He added that they will “be basing out of it.” Additionally, he said they will stay there while they “prepare for Alaska.”
Next, Bear Brown made it clear why they can’t stay on the North Star Ranch all the time. Firstly, they have little kids, and in winter it seems dangerous because of access issues. He added:
[The ranch is] like seven miles [from town.] Problem with that is you need your own plow. Not gonna happen. I obviously don’t have a plow. Anyway, I’m now walking to the entrance of the small town we’re staying in.
Discovery Fans React
Bear Brown found understanding followers who agreed that access issues are not good with kids. Others wished him a happy holiday season. Here are some other reactions:
- Happy for you and yours on finding a house.
- Happy you found a place! Stay blessed!
- Love y’all SO much Bear! SO glad y’all found a house! Stay warm and God bless y’all!
- It’s always compromise with kids. Some people can do it and do live in very harsh conditions, but it’s a lot of risks with littles. Good luck in whatever you choose
