B&B Spoilers: Who Makes The Break First – Ridge Or Brooke?

The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers document that Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) isn’t going to calm down. Instead, he’ll grow angrier now that Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) is legally in charge of Forrester Creations.

Ridge is wrong about Hope Logan’s (Annika Noelle) influence in making this happen. While she has Carter’s heart, he created the Legally Licensed Corporate paperwork and signed his name and initials on the page that set this plan in motion.

Ridge also gave Carter an option. He could have chosen not to file the paperwork and ended his relationship with Hope, but he didn’t. That establishes a major conflict at work and with one of Ridge’s true loves, Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang).

Hope is enjoying her sudden access to power. Her shocking termination included a humiliating public exit in front of FC personnel.

Carter relayed what Steffy Forrester Finnegan (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) thinks of Hope, who was bothered but not surprised. She is using that as part of her rationalizing, believing that what Carter is doing is for the good of the company and a form of justice for the Logan family.

Noelle’s character is also attempting to rebound after making a fool of herself with Steffy’s husband.

John Finn Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) was a friend and confidant, but Hope destroyed their genuine connection when she convinced herself she could turn his head away from Steffy.

That embarrassing failure certainly drives Hope’s partnership with Carter, which quickly becomes a business boon.

B&B Spoilers – Ridge Forrester Is Apoplectic

Ridge considered Carter to be a brother and a trusted business partner. However, like Eric Forrester (John McCook), Ridge now sees Carter as a traitor.

It’s hard to argue Ridge’s point of view. He can’t be blamed for being enraged by his now-former friend’s intentional duplicitous actions.

Carter presented his luxury brand idea to Eric in a one-on-one sit-down. He also made repeated pitches to Ridge and Steffy in FC’s executive suite. None of that trio was interested. So, Carter got mad, gained Hope’s endorsement, and went straight ahead.

Justin Barber (Aaron D. Spears) believes Carter’s actions are amoral but not illegal. That perspective seems debatable and might lead to a further legal challenge with or without Justin’s inclusion.

But beyond business, Ridge is forced to deal with his wife’s daughter. Hope’s role in what’s happened can’t be denied or separated from the fray.

The Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – Brooke Logan Stands With The Logans

Brooke loves Ridge. But viewers know that family turmoil has ranged from rifts to tears to breaks between Bridge in daytime days gone by.

Defending Hope is a weak position, but it’s one that Brooke must take as her mother. She feels empowered because Hope’s fall onto Finn has been revealed as a misunderstanding. That’s why Steffy’s firing Hope was wrong.

It is intriguing whether Carter’s reinstatement of Hope, Hope for the Future, and the elevation of the Logan ladies within the company will be sustainable. Fans are ready for the drama that will heat up as fall turns to winter in Los Angeles, California.
