Fans want to know what happened to him since he was a huge part of the show. The writers treated him as the leading man of the younger generation.

This question was brought up on the message boards on SoapCentral.com. The poster reggyreg wrote: “Where’s Liam? Is anyone concerned that Liam has all but disappeared from the show? I thought I would never see that happen. Is anyone else worried?”

“The writers have stopped writing for Scott which I never thought would happen,” one fan responded.

“That’s the weird part about this soap. Scott Clifton was the new Ridge, he was front and center on this soap for a decade and a half and then suddenly he’s dropped out of the blue,” another user mused.

The writers have been teasing a slow burn between Steffy and Liam. But Liam is still in the midst of his soul search.

Most Steam fans don’t want to see the two get back together. They doubt that Liam is the love of Steffy’s love. She treated him as a rebound after her fling with Bill Spencer (Don Diamont). She is also devoted to Finn, even if he has no spine.
