B&B Spoilers: Taylor’s Heart Secret Spills Too Quickly

The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers document that Taylor Hayes (Rebecca Budig) does not like that her secret is out. She did not want her loved ones, especially Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye), to know about her heart failure diagnosis.

Meeting with Li Nozawa (Naomi Matsuda) was a way to share the burden with a trusted confidant. Li and Taylor share the unique distinction of being mothers-in-law for their children. Of course, whether Li and Taylor agree or not, Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) is part of that trio.

Ridge had yet to learn why Taylor had returned to Los Angeles, California. He believed what she said about wanting to reconnect with family, but then he began to suspect something was in the daytime air just prior to her collapse.

Taylor’s collapse could have happened anywhere. But seeing Ridge and Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) caused her weakened ticker to beat far too rapidly.

Because this is daytime, Taylor grabbed the curtain. It took off the rings, and she fell to the floor. Thankfully, Ridge was still there after Brooke left, or Taylor could have died in the setting where a pleasant video shoot had just happened.

It is intriguing that Ridge is the next person, after Li, to learn about Taylor’s presumed diagnosis. That specific character being the first close family member to know the truth significantly advances this storyline.

B&B Spoilers – Taylor Hayes Didn’t Want Secret To Be Kept

If Taylor truly wanted to keep her diagnosis a secret, she would have stayed away from LA. If she was in the last spells of her life, Taylor could have contacted Ridge and the children and allowed them to share in the final moments.

But seeing Ridge and Brooke in Monte Carlo stirred something in Taylor. It compelled her to head home and put her affairs in order, which was good.

Taylor knew, subconsciously, that she would not be able to keep this secret from everyone indefinitely. She also knew that her health was not supposed to get better and that being in LA likely meant her next stage of this condition would play out in front of her family, and now it has.

The Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – So, What Comes Next?

A definitive diagnosis must be had. Dr. Grace Buckingham’s (Cassandra Creech) return implies that she will be involved in Taylor’s case.

Li told Taylor she has several highly qualified colleagues who can help her, so having a known character reappear makes the most sense.

Of course, Ridge’s awareness means that the other family members will know. So, John Finn Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) can consult or at least be kept in the loop by Li and Grace, assuming Creech’s character becomes involved, and then help Steffy Forrester Finnegan (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) to digest regular updates.
