It’s either a surprise or recognition. So, that will lead Deacon and Finn to the next step of their investigation. At some point, Finn and Deacon will probably find Sheila, who could have been held hostage by Sugar.

Sheila has done a lot of terrible things. However, this time, Sheila could really be the victim. Sheila might be traumatized.

No matter how much Finn hates what Sheila has done, he won’t be able to turn away from his bio mom, especially if she’s traumatized.

That could lead Steffy to end her marriage to Finn. Especially since Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) keeps reminding Steffy of every time Finn has ever failed her.
