The Bold And The Beautiful’s Budig’ holiday season will not be the same this year. Budig’s family has suffered a heartbreaking loss that will certainly change things.

Earlier this month, Budig shared on Instagram a heartbreaking message that her father had passed away.

George Budig passed away on December 16. Budig posted a photo of her father with the message, “I love you, Dad. 10/1/36–12/16/24.” 

Losing a parent at any time is hard but it seems to be a bigger hurt when it occurs during the holidays. Of course, Budig will find a way to manage navigating this new reality.

B&B Spoilers – Much Needed Support

Budig received plenty of support from fans, friends and colleagues once the news was released about her father’s passing. Even through social media, Budig was enveloped in the love and support of everyone who commented on her post.

At times like this, family and friends can be a light in what would otherwise be a time filled with darkness.

Co-star Romy Park posted, “My heart and thoughts are with you ❤️❤️❤️ your daddy is an angel watching over you now 🙏🏼⭐️” . Finola Hughes (Anna Devane, GH) said to her former co-star, “Sending love Rebecca 💕” Others also chimed in with their love and condolences for Rebecca in her time of need.

Rebecca Budig sharing her family’s heartbreak reminds fans that even as someone we watch on tv every day, she also has some of the same struggles that the rest of us have on a daily basis.
