Bill finds Poppy to be quite the free spirit now that she’s back in his life, even though he knows she has a wild side.

He’s used to the carefree version of Poppy, and since she doesn’t drink, those drug-infused mints have helped her let loose and be the person Bill remembers from years ago. But it’s no wonder Poppy has decided to quit the special mints given the circumstances.

On a recent episode, Poppy confessed that she’s done with them, hoping it will show her regret.

Unfortunately, Poppy unintentionally caused chaos in Luna Nozawa’s (Lisa Yamada) life by leaving those special mints where they could slip into her possession, resulting in a heartbreaking confession.

What if Bill and Poppy don’t connect in the same way after this significant change in her life-could it make him realize that he‘s been living in the past?

There’s no guarantee that Poppy and Bill will continue to work in the long run, especially if she’s not the carefree version of herself that he’s used to seeing.

It will likely be a harrowing adjustment for Poppy herself, she’s been taking those special mints so long to cope with her anxiety-and she’s in a lot of anxiety producing situations!

Even though Poppy will likely never be as uptight as her sister Li Finnegan (Naomi Matsuda) there could be a marked change in her personality.

Bill may not be attracted to the new Poppy if her personality changes too much-and she may no longer be attracted to him either.

They’ll have fond memories of that night in San Francisco, but on the other hand, Poppy may decide to forget considering she denied ever meeting him when he first saw her!

She was trying to avoid the inevitable questions from Luna at the time, who never has found out who her birth father was!

Either way, there could be a drastic change in Poppy’s personality, she may even start going by her given name of Penelope, and her sister and she might start getting along! But as far as anything further between her and Dollar Bill, it could go by the wayside.
