Deacon Sharpe’s Wedding Pleas

B&B spoilers for Monday, May 20 reveal that Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan) will continue to await a response to his requests.

Deacon wants to marry Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) right away. Deacon also wants Finn to be his best man and Hope to be Sheila’s maid of honor.

Finn has already told Hope that Steffy will not allow this. Steffy won’t even allow Finn to attend the wedding.

There is certainly no way Steffy will be okay with Finn being Deacon’s best man. At the same time, Finn is still drawn to Sheila despite Steffy’s threats and demands.

On Monday, May 20, Finn will feel torn over Deacon’s request. Now, Deacon didn’t ask Finn about being the best man.

Instead, Deacon asked Hope to speak with Finn about it. Hope still hadn’t done it when Deacon called her in Friday’s episode. 

After the phone call, Hope went to talk to Finn.

Hope doesn’t know if Sheila is reformed, but is willing to give her a cautious benefit of the doubt. Hope also wants to support her father.

However, no matter what Hope’s reasons are for attending the wedding, Steffy will find fault, as usual.

On Monday’s episode, Finn and Hope continue to grapple with the wedding request.

Elsewhere, Steffy opens up to her ex-husband about her current marriage. Steffy will once again complain about Finn being susceptible to Sheila’s manipulations.

Steffy will also tell Liam that Hope might be a negative influence on Finn. This is where Steffy might tell Liam that Hope is “supporting” Sheila. That could put the LOPE truce on hold, especially since there are children involved.
