There are no other details about the medical storyline or who else is involved. This was first mentioned by Deadline. It’s the same article that mentioned Crew Morrow being cast as Will Spencer.

Also, Jim Belushi’s daughter Jamison Bess Belushi will join the daytime soap as a lab technician named April. She will make her debut in the July 17th episode. Will Spencer will premiere in the first week of August.

There’s speculation as to what this medical mystery is about. Some B&B viewers still believe that Finn is Luna’s (Lisa Yamada) father. The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers could also suggest they’re trying to figure out what’s wrong with Hope.

But Will could be involved with this medical mystery. He could return to the canvas to meet his new sister and her mom. Something could come up regarding Luan’s real paternity. It’s unclear how the paternity test would be wrong the first time since Li was the one who initiated the test.
