Considering Tom Starr (Clint Howard) could blow up Penelope “Poppy” Nozawa’s (Romy Park) world, could the former homeless man end up dead? If so, fans might assume Poppy is guilty.

However, what if Poppy is a red herring in a much bigger story? One that paints the villain as a hero? Keep reading to find out what could happen with this summer murder mystery.

B&B spoilers reveal that Poppy previously denied that Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) could be Luna Nozawa’s (Lisa Yamada) father. In fact, Poppy said it was impossible.

Poppy switched gears after watching the bond between Bill and Katie Logan (Heather Tom) over their son, Will Spencer (Crew Morrow).

Right after Poppy witnessed the BATIE bond over Will, Poppy suddenly had a change of heart. When Bill asked Poppy once again if Luna could be his, she suddenly said yes.

When Li Finnegan (Naomi Matsuda) showed up with a paternity test of her own, she was shocked that it showed Bill was Luna’s father. Li was so certain that Poppy was scamming Bill.

Even though the paternity test did say Bill and Luna are related, there are more twists ahead.

The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers reveal that Tom confronted Poppy. It’s clear they have a history and now, Tom claims that he is Luna’s real father.

Tom also mentioned that Poppy knows he is Luna’s father. So, what kind of stunt is Poppy pulling, and is there any truth to Tom’s statement?

B&B Spoilers – Red Herring?

It is confirmed that July will kick off a murder mystery. Expect the unexpected death to happen pretty early in the week, too.

Of course, fans might assume Poppy killed Tom to keep her secret. What if Poppy is just a red herring?

While it’s true that Tom got on Sheila Carter Sharpe’s (Kimberlin Brown) bad side, he quickly turned things around with the reformed villain. So, I don’t think it’s Sheila that kills Tom either. Likely, it will be someone we least expect!

Hopefully, fans don’t see who the killer is right away. That definitely makes the story a lot more interesting, when we don’t know who the killer is right away. So, who would kill Tom and why?
