B&B spoilers reveal that Bill suspected he could be Luna’s real father. When Luna and Bill brought it up, Poppy denied it to both of them. That only changed once Poppy saw the bond between Bill and Katie Logan (Heather Tom) over their son, Will Spencer (Finnegan George).

Poppy instantly began competing with Katie. Poppy made sure to tell Katie right then and there, “Oh, you’re THAT Katie.” Then, Poppy made another unnecessary statement by telling Katie she had Bill first. It was only after that when Poppy declared that Bill could be Luna’s father.

Since Poppy came to L.A., Li hasn’t been very fair toward Luna. There were a few times when Li told Luna she hoped her mother was being truthful. It wasn’t always regarding the bio dad issue, either.

It certainly sounds like paternity tampering might be in Poppy’s past! That might also explain why Li was so shell-shocked by the results being positive.

There was a time when John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) mentioned that Poppy and Luna lived with them for a time when they were young.

Perhaps Li gave Poppy another chance after the hospital scandal, which is what resulted in Luna’s birth.

Maybe Li went against her better judgment and allowed her sister to stay with them for a time with the baby. Could Poppy have claimed that Jack was Luna’s father? Could Poppy have gone as far as to fake a paternity test?

Perhaps Poppy first claimed the married hospital doctor was the father, then later lied again saying it was Jack. That would certainly explain Li’s fury and shock over the positive DNA test.
