In the October 7 episode of The Bold and the Beautiful, Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) inquired with Li Finnegan (Naomi Matsuda) regarding Taylor’s (Rebecca Budig) recent diagnosis.

He was curious if it might be beneficial for Li to have a conversation with Taylor, especially after Taylor appeared to brush off Grace’s (Cassandra Creech) assessment.

One would expect Taylor to feel relieved about the news that she isn’t facing a terminal illness, so why does she seem so subdued-is there something she’s not revealing?

When compared to a life-threatening heart condition, a diagnosis of Broken Heart Syndrome, which is manageable and not life-threatening, should be seen as a positive development.

Yet, Taylor has opted to remain reserved, avoiding any celebration and keeping her feelings about the situation to herself.

She made Ridge promise to keep her situation a secret from Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) and anyone else, including Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang).

Instead, Taylor appears to be concentrating on two main concerns: her belief that her symptoms indicate heart disease and the fact that she isn’t heartbroken.

The heartbroken issue is complicated, especially since she was married to Ridge, who chose to be with Brooke. Taylor claims she doesn’t need a man in her life, yet she seems genuinely pleased to have Ridge’s support during her health challenges.

Perhaps she realizes that this diagnosis could lead to complications, especially after expressing to Brooke her desire to mend their relationship for the sake of their daughters.

The Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – Deep Down, Does Taylor Hayes Want Ridge Forrester Back?

Maybe, deep down, Taylor truly wants to reunite with Ridge-she came back to say goodbye to everyone, even though she didn’t plan to let anyone know about her farewell visit.

Now that she isn’t actually dying, you’d think she’d be excited about her new chance at life, but instead, she seems shocked that she’s not leaving this world anytime soon.

It’s clear that Taylor is concealing something regarding her reaction to the new diagnosis; there’s definitely more to this situation.

It’s hard to believe she just happened to be in Monte Carlo, watching Brooke and Ridge from a distance, and then quickly flew back to LA. We suspect it could affect more than just the Ridge-Taylor-Brooke love triangle.
