According to The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers, Tom Starr died from an alleged drug overdose. He seemed somewhat sober before his performance until his collapse.

Tom previously revealed to Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan) that he hasn’t touched alcohol in years. His big blue drink was just an energy drink that kept him going.

Someone messed with that drink. Before Tom’s performance at Il Giardino, a gloved person dumped some kind of powder into his drink. It’s unclear what kind of drugs were in his system.

B&B viewers are trying to put the pieces together on the message boards on SoapCentral.com.

Dr. John “Finn” Finnegan was the one who delivered the news to Deacon and Hollis (Hollis Chambers) about Tom’s death. Neither of them understood how it could happen since Tom seemed sober. Finn assured them that addiction is a disease and can happen anytime.

“Turned it off – Finn with his ‘drug overdose’ reason – no police investigation, no crime scene – guess they will get to that later – but the restaurant is just business as usual – just could not watch that,” one fan wrote.

“Now it’s an overdose. No murder… no investigation… so definitely gonna be dragged out. It will be dropped & not investigated unless somebody gets suspicious & notifies authorities,” another user wrote.
