Loneliness and feeling like the odd one out is what kind of brought Carter and Hope together. It would have been nice to focus on their friendship building first, then it turning into a flirtation before going full romance.

In any case, Carter and Hope are together now. Carter and Hope have also taken over Forrester Creations.

While Hope was a big push in that, Carter is the one taking all the risk since only his name is on those documents.

Bridget Forrester (Ashley Jones) was stunned to find out Carter and Hope were together romantically. Bridget became instantly suspicious and knew Hope had an agenda.

It’s not clear what kind of tests, but perhaps jealousy will play a big role. Carter has shown with Hope and his previous relationships that he gets extremely jealous, especially when it comes to co-parenting. 

Business loyalty could also divide the couple. Carter and Hope seem to be running FC together.

While they did pick Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) to be CEO, Carter and Hope might have some big business disagreements. This could jeopardize Carter and Hope’s personal relationship as well as their business partnership.

What if Hope and Carter are wrong about the luxury brand or even HFTF? What if Hope can’t get those numbers up, and Carter decides Stefffy Forrester Finnegan (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) was right in cutting the line?

While every relationship has its obstacles, Carter and Hope don’t have that loyalty or bond to make it through anything. This dynamic was based on desperation and loneliness, not love.
