B&B Spoilers: Bill Shaken By Poppy’s Arrest – Katie Plays Momentary Hero

The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers document that Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) did not want to believe Katie Logan (Heather Tom).

But the arrival of Deputy Chief Bradley Baker (Dan Martin) and the arrest of Poppy Nozawa (Romy Park) propelled this storyline to new heights.

Katie was purely going with her gut instinct when calling Martin’s character. But he and his officers located more than the letters Poppy returned to Tom Starr (Clint Howard).

Laced drugs that were in a container in a zippered compartment appeared to match those that caused his death and Paul Hollis Hollister’s (Hollis W. Chambers).

Viewers felt jolted by the suddenness of events and wondered if Poppy was the second wrong suspect. The soapy walls have collapsed on Park’s character.

The Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – Sheila Carter Was The First Suspect

Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) was hauled in simply because of her reputation and proximity to the dead men. Tom and Hollis worked at Il Giardino.

Brown’s character was present on the days both were killed. That was enough to convince Baker and Steffy Forrester Finnegan’s (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) prodding.

But Sheila was quickly released because there was no evidence to link her to either crime. Baker believes that the backpack and the drugs represent compelling evidence and that Poppy had the motive and opportunity to kill Tom and Hollis.

B&B Spoilers – Bill Spencer’s New Life Is Over?

Bill was thrilled that he and Poppy rediscovered each other. Their one magical night at the music festival also produced more than lasting memories.

Luna Nozawa (Lisa Yamada) is the daughter Bill never knew he had but is thrilled to call his own. At least he, Luna, and the viewers have been led to believe they are biologically tied.

This storyline could go in various directions, which makes it an enjoyable summer thriller mystery. But it would seem unusual to create an entire backstory and rip it away so soon after it was presented to the audience.

For the moment, Katie looks like the hero. She took the initiative and did not back down, creating an outcome that happened faster than would seem normally possible.

Bill wants to remain hopeful that Poppy is not a double-murderer and that the test Li Nozawa (Naomi Matsuda) administered was accurate. But his faith in Poppy has been shaken.

Devoted daytime fans may feel that Poppy is as innocent as Sheila. Poppy seems to be telling the truth. If so, then someone set her up.

Whoever that person is must be the killer, but the audience does not know enough to be sure about the real criminal.
