B&B Boring Couples: RJ Forrester And Luna Nozawa

The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) is a curious soap in that it has one of the hottest soap pairings we have seen in years — as well as one of the most boring.

In a world where Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) and Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) are scorching but, RJ Forrester (Joshua Hoffman) and Luna Nozawa (Lisa Yamada) are decidedly not.

The sexual tension between Thomas and Hope can barely be cut with a knife RJ and Luna have no sexual tension at all, but at least they finally had sex, right?

RJ and Luna have hardly had a build-up at all and were spouting off words of love before they even had an official date.

Their entire relationship has revolved around talking about Eric Forrester’s illness in the Forrester Creations design office.

Not even Luna’s aunt Li Finnegan wanting her to quit her job and leave LA was able to make RJ and Luna an interesting couple.

In fact, they are nothing short of awkward as they make star eyes at one another with absolutely no angst to come between them.

Their first time having sex was lackluster and got no build-up in the star-crossed supercouple kind of way. Add in Luna’s odd obsession with having fresh breath and the whole love scene just became cringe.

B&B Spoilers – Enter Zende Forrester To Spice Things Up…Please

At least there is some hope for Luna and a possible plan to make her more interesting. We still have to learn of the scandal behind her conception.

We’d also like to see her cause quite a scandal herself when she ends up torn between RJ and his cousin Zende Forrester (Delon De Metz).

Zende has made it quite clear that he is interested in Luna and is willing to fight RJ for her, but Luna has made it clear that she only has eyes from Brooke Logan’s (Katherine Kelly Lang) and Ridge Forrester’s (Thorsten Kaye) golden child.

There is even more chemistry and spark between Zende and Luna than there is between RJ and Luna.

If B&B wants, it can change course immediately and pair Luna with Zende — or, she could just find herself attracted to him meaning a love triangle has been born.
