Australia Tour Was Moment Meghan Markle Wanted To Break From the Royal Family

The King and Queen have just concluded their glorious tour of Australia to massive fan turnouts at every event, and it’s leading experts to reflect on Harry and Meghan‘s royal tour in the country a few years ago. According to Ingrid Seward, the “rot” started setting in right at that time.

Meghan Markle Didn’t Like Being Told What To Do During Australian Tour With Harry

2018 was a marvelous time for the Sussexes, fresh off their marriage and already carrying out their first big royal tour.

They also received much love from the Australians during their visit that that royal experts still refer to that moment whenever they want to say that Harry and Meghan could have been a force for good had they stayed in the Royal Family.

Anyway, that’s past tense now; they’ve since left and said multiple rude things about the Royal Family as to close that door forever.

But if we were to go back in time, royal expert Ingrid Seward reasoned that the tour may have been successful, but that it opened up some uncomfortable feelings in Meghan.

She said: “It was a monumental trip when Harry and Meghan went in 2018, and Meghan announced her pregnancy when she was there. I think the Australians were very flattered by that and she played her part brilliantly. They were young and fresh.”

Reflecting on what the late Queen thought at the time, Seward continued, “When the late Queen looked at it she thought, my goodness, we really have got two young people here who are going to be so beneficial for the Commonwealth. But I think Meghan wasn’t seeing it quite like that. I think she enjoyed the adulation. She enjoyed playing the part of the princess as she saw it. But I also think it was a it was a bit of a shock.”

The shock? “She was being told what to do. She was being told where to go, and she was being told how to do it.And she wasn’t taking a starring role.”

Meghan Markle Didn’t Like the Monarchy’s Hierarchy

It also opened Meghan’s eyes to the fact the hierarchy in the monarchy is set and no matter how hard she worked, she was always “going to be the cog in the wheel.”

“She was married to the number two man, not the number one man, which would have been William. That was definitely when the rot began to sort of fester a little bit,” Seward said.

I guess, to be honest, no one can blame her for leaving. The only thing is that she could have done a peaceful exit and carried on chasing her Hollywood dreams. The bullying reports did not help, I guess.
