Ariana Madix Sues Ex-Boyfriend Tom Sandoval Over Their Shared House

Ariana Madix is no longer interested in cohabiting with her ex-boyfriend Tom Sandoval in their shared Valley Village home. She wants to sell it off and move on with her life. The “Dancing With the Stars” finalists recently sued Tom, whom she dated for nine years before they broke up in March 2023, over their Los Angeles home.

The former couple acquired the Five-bedroom- five-and-a-half-bathroom apartment in 2019 for as much as $2 million. But a recent court document acquired by “People” states that Madix hopes that the court orders them to sell the building which they bought together as “partition by sale.”

The term simply means that Madix and Sandoval are liable to sell the building and split the proceeds. The documents also state that Madix requested for “equitable allocation of the proceeds of sale,” which includes, “payment of debt secured by same and the costs of partition.”

The document also shared that the 38-year-old strongly kicked against “Division in Kind.” A term that allows any of them to sell half of their share of the property to a third party.

Ever since the public cheating scandal where Madix caught wind that Sandoval was in a secret affair with her former friend and co-star Rachel “Raquel” Leviss, she has been vocal about her intention of selling the house.

Two months after breaking up with Sandoval, in an appearance on “Watch What Happen Live,” in May, she told host Andy Cohen, “I want my money out of that house as quickly as possible, I want to move on.”

In August, Madix revealed in an appearance on her Vanderpump Rules costar Scheana Shay’s Scheananigans podcast that she still lives in the same house with her 40-year-old ex-boyfriend.

Madix said, “I have never been someone who came from money. I know how quickly that goes away. I’m taking care of myself. I have a pretty decent setup. My room is kind of like my little apartment. I stay in my own little zone.” She continued, “There’s something to be said for that—just toward the end of [our relationship], while he was having the affair, him staying out late all the time was always something that made my anxiety super, super bad.”

She went on to say, “In that regard, I sleep a lot easier at night not giving a fuck about when he is coming through that door. That is one thing I have to say about us living in the same house. I don’t have to think about how he is coming into my bedroom because he is not, I sleep with my door locked, just in case.”
