The Anna Johnston Story – Are Trent & Amber Hiding Things?

7 Little Johnstons fans seem very supportive of Anna Johnston because they believe that Trent and Amber Johnston have been overly harsh with her. If they have reasons to be such Debbie Downers on her, does that mean they’ve been hiding things from their fans about their daughter who was adopted from Russia? 

Things TLC Fans Know About Anna Johnston Didn’t Do

The Russian daughter got involved in experimenting with drugs and ended up needing rescuing after trying Delta 8. OH WAIT! That was Jonah Johnston. Then, a little person who met the family at the LPA in 2018 alleged that Jonah and Elizabeth were stuck up and hung with homophobic friends.

No mention came of Anna. And yet, she’s the one kid her parents seem to constantly vilify. Anna Johnston didn’t fall pregnant and bring home an unplanned baby. Not that it’s a huge deal these days. However, the 7 Little Johnstons parents made out that Liz was the perfect child in comparison to Anna.

7 Little Johnstons Star Was Unmanageable?

When Trent and Amber Johnston threw Anna a 16th birthday party, of course, they had to remind TLC fans that their daughter had allegedly spray-painted her name on a wall at school years ago. And, she visited a boy in a hotel room at the LPA convention, Never mind that Trent and Amber get into cosplay sex on national television. 

7 Little Johnstons‘ fans get the impression that Anna Johnston was unmanageable because of her dastardly deeds growing up. But, the information from the TLC show doesn’t seem to justify the treatment of her by her mom, Amber. And so, people naturally wonder if there’s more to the story that was kept hidden. 

Is There More To The Story?

Anna went on to buy her first home at a young age and she has done well with her college and career. And yet, strong rumors suggest that she’s estranged from her entire family at the moment. Could that be due to her dating a person of color? TLC fans can’t help but wonder about that. But, looking back over the years, one viewer wondered if there was more to her early story that Trent and Amber Johnston hid during their couch confessions.

On Reddit this week, u/ApprehensiveFox8844 spoke about the 7 Little Johnstons stars, asking:

Is there more to the story?
Anna got in trouble for going into another room at the convention and didn’t get to drive. Okay fair. But then later we realized that the convention is in the summer and by the Christmas episode she was STILL trying to “prove herself.”… that seemed extreme to us. Is there more to the story??

 

The TLC fan also wrote, “Then we also noticed that she went to a different high school. Was that JUST because of the spray paining incident? Or was there more to that story too?…there has to be more…that they just aren’t showing….

TLC Fans Discuss Anna

In the discussion, few people thought that there was more to the story. In fact, many of them remain convinced that Amber and Trent Johnston simply don’t like their daughter very much. Here are some of their reactions:

• I think that’s pretty much it. They hold things over Anna’s head forever. I always say that when she gets married they will stand up and do a toast and will make sure everyone knows about the spray paint incident. It’s gross how they belittle her and they encourage the other children to do the same.
• I have had a hard time watching how mean they are to her. When she was crying in the kitchen hugging her dog I sobbed. I wanted to crawl through the TV and hug her. After all her treatment she seems to be well rounded so far. I pray.
• Her big brother has had a run in with drugs, and her sister is an unwed mom and both have likely done the same or worse. Difference is she’s treated like the red headed step child as she’s an adopted child that should be grateful to be rescued from a Russian orphanage vs her parents biological older siblings.
• They are extreme. My guess, having had a mom with strong narc qualities like Amber, is that Anna doesn’t go along with everything and stands up for herself so she gets treated much worse…
