Amy Slaton Critics Want Accountability For Filthy Home

1000-Lb Sisters fans hear excuses for Amy Slaton Halterman all the time because she has an eyesight problem. Or, she’s got a mental health issue or a husband problem. But now, TLC fans tire of excuses and they want accountability from the TLC star because they think her home is filthy. 

Amy Slaton Got TLC Fans Gagging

It’s been a few years since Chris Combs and Amy cooked together and came up with a meatless meal. Remember, the 1000-Lb Sisters show revealed that Amy got in some people to help declutter and tidy up her home. But, she felt embarrassed because of the roaches and mice hanging out inside. 

When Gage was still a baby, Amy Slaton found a lot of TLC critics because the child’s mattress looked stained. And some critics believed they could see fly and roach poop on the walls of her house. Recently, 1000-Lb Sisters fans complained about Amy’s cooking and cleanliness after Season 6 Episode 3.

‘War & Peas’ Finds Cleanliness Critics 

In Episode 3 of Season 6, Tammy Slaton and Amanda were at war and Chris Combs decided to try and calm them down. Meanwhile, Amy decided it would be a great idea to cook up a meal of questionable origin. Anyway, TLC critics noticed that the stovetop looked disgusting. So, they slammed her on social media. 

On Reddit, plenty of 1000-Lb Sisters fans made excuses for Michael Halterman’s ex. Some of them talked about how she has an “eyesight” problem. And other TLC fans slammed critics because Amy Slaton possibly suffers from “depression.” But more people are sick of it and want accountability.  

No Excuses – Accountability Wanted

1000-Lb Sisters fan u/Skankhuntt__42 started the conversation about the dirty stovetop. In the caption, they wrote:

Just look at the filth Amy’s stove Her entire house is disgusting but just look at all the filth underneath just ONE eye of the stove. I smell a samonella a mile away. Her pots and pans had shit all over them and it’s not from just [one] meal prep.

TLC fans who grow irritated with the excuses made for Amy Slaton voiced their concerns. Here are some of those reactions:

• No excuses for this woman. Poor, abused, ignorant. Eye sight has nothing to do with this. When your hand slides all over the stove? Wipe the damn crap off the stove.
• She doesn’t need people making excuses for her. She does plenty of that for herself. What she needs is a good hard reality check and a swift kick in the *ss.
• Poverty isn’t an excuse for filth. In the old sharecropping days of true hunger and penniless poverty with families in flour sacks, the decent ones washed the kids before bed and the lazy trash didn’t.
• I get so tired of seeing the … excuses for her. There seems to be every excuse in the book nowadays for being an irresponsible adult.
