Americans Don’t Like That Prince Harry Betrayed His Family

After quitting his senior royal duties in 2020, Prince Harry arrived in the US as one of the most popular royals, but has so far fallen behind Prince William and Princess Kate that he’s now nearer the least most popular royal.

A royal expert has explained that the reason for this had to do with Harry’s crusade against his own family. ‘Spare’ may have earned him millions of dollars, but it likely cost him his reputation.

Royal Expert Says Prince Harry Is Still “Paying” For What He Did To His Family

Royal commentator Ingrid Seward is convinced Harry is still not out of the waters he muddied by the publication of his controversial memoir, ‘Spare.’

His so-called “wholly truthful” memoir saw him recall private moments that happened between him and his family, from the time when he was a young boy to becoming Meghan Markle’s husband.

“I think what people really dislike is that he dissed his family. The book Spare may have earnt him millions but gosh he’s paid for it. He’s paying for it still,” Seward opined.

She added: “Especially the Americans I know, they hate the idea that he dissed his family and he doesn’t speak to his brother, has never met Meghan’s father. I mean it is very strange. Is she ashamed of her father, why hasn’t Harry met him?”

Touching on how Harry’s life contrasts to the Waleses, she added, “It’s this distancing from family, people find that very alienating, the opposite to what William and Kate were showing in their most recent video.”

Next month, ‘Spare’ will hit the market in its paperback version. According to reports, nothing in the book has been updated or changed, meaning that the Duke still stands by all he recounted about his family.

On top of this, Harry was said to shamelessly plug the book at a bookstore opening event held by Oprah Winfrey. His wife Meghan Markle was among the chief speakers at the event.

On October 22, the book will drop in the US, with its UK release coming two days later.
