Alaskan Bush People Star Ami Brown In The Hospital

Snowbird Brown, from Alaskan Bush People fame, recently revealed some shocking news. In an emotional video, she tells fans that her mom, Ami Brown, is in the hospital. More on this story, below.

Alaskan Bush People – The Family Is Having A Hard Go

Ami Brown has had a hard go as of late. Due to her cancer some years ago, she and hubby Billy decided to move from Alaska to Washinton to be closer to hospitals.

However, they were still not close enough. Sadly, Billy passed away from a stroke when he couldn’t get the medical attention he needed, in time.

Meanwhile, Snowbird also dealt with a cancer scare as well, when she had tumors removed from her ovaries and traveled quite a long way from her home to have the surgery done.

In other family news, Raiven and Bear Brown are currently anticipating the arrival of their third baby and have traveled to Texas to be closer to an NICU hospital as there is not one around, where they live in Washington.

Among all these health issues that the family is facing, it appears now that Ami is in the hospital.

Alaskan Bush People – Star Snowbird Brown Updates Fans On Ami Brown Via Social Media

Snowbird Brown hopped on Instagram to tell fans that a bad cold has been circulating in Washington. She reveals she’s had it herself, and it was bad. In fact, she was unable to keep anything down.

Unfortunately, Ami contracted the same cold and at the age of 60, needed to be hospitalized. Ami was taken to the ER, and it seems the cold has turned into pneumonia.

The silver lining is that Snowbird tells fans that Ami is okay at the moment. She is on antibiotics, with doctors and nurses watching over her.

Unfortunately, as Snowbird is still sick, she can’t see her mom and doesn’t want to make things worse for her. In the video, she does say her mom is doing better and that she will continue to update fans.
