A Very Royal Scandal Premiere Date: See Michael Sheen Get Roasted As Prince Andrew

The Royal Family‘s shenanigans will forever be a source of entertainment for Americans, and has inspired dozens of TV shows and movies over the decades.  Prime Video is rolling out new spoilers for their series “A Very Royal Scandal,” which will follow Prince Andrew’s disastrous BBC interview that ended his Royal career.

The interview went South, FAST and you can still see the cringe-worthy clips all over social media and the internet.  

Shortly after Prince Andrew’s disastrous BBC interview, he released an official statement saying he was stepping back from his Royal commitments with Queen Elizabeth’s blessing.  

 A Very Royal Scandal – Michael Sheen Plays Prince Andrew 

Earlier this year Amazon Prime announced they were planning a mini-series around reporter Emily Maitlis’ and Prince Andrew’s infamous interview.  Maitlis will be played by Ruth Wilson, and Michael Sheen has been cast as disgraced Prince Andrew. 

Other members of the Royal Scandal cast include Joanna Scanlan, Alex Jennings, and Éanna Hardwicke.  The part of Prince Andrew’s wife Sarah Ferguson will be played by Wilderness star Claire Rushbrooke.

A Very Royal Scandal’s official Amazon Prime synopsis teases, “One night. One hour. One interview that sent shockwaves around the globe and the many questions left in its wake that would change their lives forever.” 

A Very Royal Scandal – Amazon Prime Premiere Date

Michael Sheen will make his debut as Prince Andrew in A Very Royal Scandal’s premiere on September 19th. 

Amazon will be airing the three episode miniseries in the U.S., UK, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand.  

So far Prince Andrew has not even acknowledge the new Amazon series, but it will be interesting to see what he has to say after it airs and the Epstein scandal becomes front page news again. Will you be tuning in?
